The North York Pulmonary Function Center opened in 2008 and provides comprehensive pulmonary function testing services and specializes in diagnostics of respiratory diseases such as asthma, COPD, pulmonary fibrosis and pulmonary hypertension. Many patients with asthma may have normal pulmonary function tests which is why this centre also provides methacholine challenge testing for assessment of airway hyperreactivity.
