Dear Resident,
November brings with its colder days a time for reflection. On Remembrance Day, we illuminate and honour those who have made the ultimate sacrifice during the First World War. I encourage all residents to pause and pay respect to the memory of these brave individuals.

In recent news, my heart goes out to all those who have been affected by Hurricane Melissa. I visited the Black Creek Health Centre at Sheridan Mall to drop off donations of food, toiletries and supplies. A big thank you to the BCCHC team as well as 31 Division officers for their efforts putting this together. If you still wish to donate, items such as gently used clothing, toiletries and non-perishables can be dropped off to the front desk of 31 Division, located at 40 Norfinch Drive.
Also, my annual Principals’ Forum was a success. We heard from service operators in the area, including a presentation from SafeTO where we discussed initiatives to help protect children's educations and futures by making our schools safer.

Lastly, the Vacant Homes Tax portal is open. Homeowners must declare their property’s 2025 occupancy status by April 30, 2026. This can be done through the online declaration portal at toronto.ca/VacantHomeTax, by calling 311, or by visiting a Tax and Utility counter at City Hall. If you have further questions or require assistance, please contact my office.
