Solid waste Management Services is responsible for collecting, transporting, processing, composting andndisposing of municipal and private sector solid waste, recyclables, organics, electronics waste andnhousehold hazardous waste. The division manages fTheir collections yards, one maintenance yard, seven transfernstations and six household hazardous waste depots, one single stream recycling facility, two organics processingnfacilities, Green Lane Landfill and 160 former landfills.
