Dear Resident,
Getting vaccinated is the best way to keep everyone safe. Many of you have received your first dose, with second doses scheduled or on the way. We must continue to work together towards a future where it’ll be safe to meet in person again. That time is coming, and I look forward to seeing you.
Now that it’s warmer outside and summer is upon us, please remember to continue following public health guidelines. It’s essential to spend time outdoors but to do so safely with members of your own home.
You’ve received my Spring Newsletter and other flyers in your mailbox. The City of Toronto received an application to build three new buildings (9, 11, and 32 storeys) for a total of 560 new residential units where a commercial plaza currently exists at 41-75 Four Winds Drive. The current application contradicts the Keele-Finch Secondary Plan (KFSP), which residents helped complete recently. Toronto needs housing, but bending to the whims of all developers will not ensure more affordability. We deserve better than this. I am opposed to this application and intend to fight it. You, too, have an opportunity to express your position on this application. Your participation in this process is meaningful and impacts the future of our community. Sign the petition to have your voice heard!

Sincerely,
City Councillor Anthony Perruzza
