Dear Resident,
Happy June! As we coast through the warmer months, I hope you are all taking time to enjoy the valuable outdoor spaces our community has to offer. Also, there are some exciting amenities on the way!
The City of Toronto is in the process of consulting residents on changes to local Fountainhead Park. I was happy to connect with folks at a consultation meeting on June 3rd regarding exciting changes including a new skating rink, trail and more! The meeting was attended by local residents from many different walks of life. Resoundingly, the community is excited for this project. I look forward to watching this incredible vision come to life.
Also, I had the privilege of attending the Toronto Catholic District School Board's celebration of Italian Heritage Month at James Cardinal McGuigan High School, where I presented a framed proclamation from the Mayor affirming the importance of this commemoration. Thank you to all the sponsors, teachers, school board associates and students for making this a special afternoon filled with cultural treats.
