Dear Resident,
First and foremost, I’d like to wish everyone a happy and safe back-to-school season. Now more than ever, it has become clear that our education system is a crucial pillar of our city. I thank all those involved in keeping our schools public and safe including staff, administration and advocates at every level.

Also, for those who have not heard, the playground in Driftwood Park will be getting some improvements as part of an ongoing program to enhance playgrounds and play spaces across the city! There will be opportunities for residents to provide feedback, including an online survey expected to go live in November 2025. To stay up to date on this project, visit www.toronto.ca/DriftwoodPlayground.
Lastly, for all seniors and folks with disabilities who have not yet applied, the deadline for this year’s Property Tax and Utility Rebate application is October 31st. If you have questions about eligibility or need help with an application, please contact my office.
