DUKE Heights BIA issued a COVID-19 Business Impact Survey on April 8, 2020 to assess the impact of Covid-19 on our BIA members as well as their current needs, so we can cater suitable support measures during and after the pandemic. The survey was closed on May 7, 2020.
Thanks to all the BIA members who responded. The BIA team will get back to the respondents on their individual queries.
Here is a snapshot of our findings.
- 90% of the respondents to the survey said COVID-19 had a significant negative impact on their businesses.
- At the time of the survey 48% had to remain closed due to the pandemic.
- 56% are either interested or have already made alternative arrangements through e-commerce and online sales.
- 83% of the respondents are curious about financial assistance.
