Teta’s Mediterranean bakery was started in our BIA over 20 years ago by the Hajjar sisters from Qaraoun, Lebanon. Since then it has been a staple at 4610 Dufferin Street providing excellent Mediterranean cuisine. Even after the Hajjar sisters retired, Teta’s has lived on through current owner/operator Sami Majdalani, Who has grown and expanded the business from a bakery to a popular lunch spot and catering business.
Now however, Teta’s will be growing even more! In August 2017 Teta’s Mediterranean Bakery will be transforming into SUQ Mediterranean Kitchen and will be moving from their current location on Dufferin Street to the NE corner unit of the Champagne Centre on 2 Champagne Dr. This move will mark their transition from a traditional bakery into the world of “Fast-Casual Dining”.
The new SUQ Mediterranean Kitchen has over gone many changes since it was first founded in 1994. Sami Majdalani and Partners are excited to continue the growth and expansion of this business and to bring a modern interpretation of Lebanese mountain and street food into the DUKE Heights BIA.
