DUKE Heights BIA hosts its annual community bike race event, Tour de DUKE Heights, aiming at promoting healthy living and active commuting. This involves training and coaching youths with a non-competitive, recreational event that brings BIA businesses and the neighboring communities together. One of the key focal points of the event is developing young riders’ essential skills in a safe, fun, and playful environment. The event also creates opportunities for members to engage with people from the local communities through a bike donation program that benefits underprivileged families.
