Dear business neighbours,
It is important for businesses to be fully aware of all the supports and initiatives available for them by the City as the hustle and bustle of the dog days of summer begins to approach.
The Digital Main Street program offers small businesses and not-for-profits with tools and resources as well as one-on-one virtual assistance on everything pertaining to website design and social media.
ShopHERE powered by Google is a program that provides a quick and easy way to distribute products online at no-cost through one-on-one support from volunteer web developers, business students and corporate partners.
ToGoToronto.com is a site customers can visit to see which restaurants are open for safe takeout and delivery and business can add a listing on the site. For more information on how you can add your business to the list as well as for more details on the various business-oriented programs by the City you can visit COVID-19: Digital Transformation Resources for Businesses – City of Toronto
Additionally, our office continues to work with the private sector to draw investments towards the improvement of our infrastructure. Examples of such improvements include adding additional sidewalks and the development of a movie production campus at Downsview Park, with help from Northcrest, which would attract future film industry and tourism to businesses across DUKE Heights BIA and York Centre.
As always, my team is here to help. If you ever need assistance from my office with municipal matters, please call at 416-392-1371 or send email to Councillor_Pasternak@toronto.ca
Sincerely,
Councillor James Pasternak
