Active Brain Center

The Active Brain Center, based in Toronto, is founded by S. Rajaratnam. Their mission is to nurture the intelligence and creativity of a child by teaching exemplary computational skills using the abacus. Use of the abacus encourages whole brain development as both the left and right hemispheres of the brain are utilized, thereby stimulating the intelligence of the child through improved speed and accuracy in calculations, concentration, visual memory, logical reasoning and creativity.
