Dear Resident,
Last month, I had an opportunity to attend a celebration by the Community Music Schools of Toronto (CMST). At this event, they officially announced the new facility that they will be building behind York Woods Library and the new name for the future building: 'Helen Carswell School of Music'.
The CMST is currently located just beside Yorkwoods Library (1725 Finch Ave West). This upcoming CMST addition to the library building will allow for the expansion of services for children and youth in our area. They currently offer various programs for children and youth that include, weekly individual and group music instruction, summer camps, performances, songwriting, music production, recording experiences, and more!
