On Friday, June 30, 2023, the eve of this year’s Canada Day, hundreds of families, and community members from across the city gathered at Fountainhead Park at Finch Avenue and Sentinel Road for the DUKE Eats Festival, our grand summer event celebrating culinary and cultural diversity.
We couldn't be more thrilled to express our heartfelt gratitude to all participants, vendors, performers, and volunteers who made this year’s DUKE Eats festival a resounding success! It was an incredible day filled with laughter, joy, and unforgettable memories, and we owe it all to your unwavering support and dedication. The attendees thoroughly relished all the various food options, several free fun activities for kids and families, and enjoyed a free movie at night.
All the participants were amazing, bringing their enthusiasm and energy to the event.
A massive shout-out to the fantastic vendors and food trucks who provided a wide array of delicious food and refreshing beverages. They brought a wide range of culinary delights to tantalize our taste buds. We appreciate their hard work and the delightful experiences they offered to all attendees.
To our phenomenal performers, who dazzled the crowd with their exceptional talents and captivating performances. Whether it was through the magic show, live concert, DJ show, dance, circus performances, bubble show, canvas painting, caricature drawing, interactive Lego games, or balloon twisting, they brought smiles to everyone's faces and created a vibrant atmosphere.
Last but certainly not least, we extend a heartfelt thank you to our incredible volunteers. They were the backbone of the event, tirelessly ensuring smooth operations till the end, and going above and beyond to make the day a roaring success.
We believe, when businesses and communities come together, we create something truly magical. We look forward to future collaborations and more amazing memories together.
