Information on Energy and Property Tax Rebates

February 3, 2021

February 01, 2021

Businesses can apply for Energy and Property Tax Rebates through the COVID-19 Energy Assistance Program for Small Businesses (CEAP-SB) if required to shut down or significantly restrict services due to provincial health measures. Customers may be eligible for up to $1500 in support towards their electricity and natural gas bills. Eligible businesses can apply through their utility provider.

Looking to lower your energy use, operating costs and emissions?

Check out the additional support services:

FOCUS GROUP: No Cost Green Recovery Support

TABIA (The Toronto Association of Business Improvement Areas) has launched no cost support services to improve your business’s energy efficiency and lower its energy cost. For a limited time, TABIA will be piloting no cost energy efficiency support services to help “green” your business.

At no cost TABIA will:

  • Analyze your business’ utility bills for anomalies
  • Perform a free audit to identify energy efficiency projects (inclusive of no and low cost)
  • Benchmark your building’s performance against industry averages

These support services are on a first come first serve basis to only 10 businesses at this time.

Participants will be encouraged to commit to a green recovery by planning which identified projects to implement by May 31,2021.

To register your business please email laura@dukeheights.ca.
